Looking forward to the movie while i read the books

Is there this book that has the contents of whats going to happen to each and everyone. All the good and bad things, all the easy and tough decisions, all the consequences etc etc etc. Wouldn't it be good we can just flip the book and it will state these options, if you wish to do this, turn to page xx, if u wish to do that turn to page yy. And then right there, u can see ur results..so u can make a better decision.

I once watch a movie titled 'Turn Back Time'. Can't remember the exact details of the story, the main plot was the female lead decision that started off at a train station. And the decision that she made lead her to a total whole different life story. The movie shows the various things that happened to the lead after each decision made. Correspondingly also shows the other scenario.

If u could turn back time too, then what would you do?? turn back 1 day, 1 week, 1 month , 1 year?? What sort of changes you would want?

For me, I usually dun think about turning back time, i'm more interested in the future, as in what will happen if i do this or if i do that. Of course there are times i tried to imagine it was only yesterday , so that i can still be with those that i missed so much.

At this point of time, nothing really bothers me, just that i am sleepy and yet i am waiting for something so i cannot sleep yet...so surfing and blogging can help take away some waiting time man.

Read an email quote today too, it says Time is not money, Time is life . Well it makes sense...although i still feel that if you dun have money, there is no point having a lot of time. You will just feel very miserable.

My 1st post from my acer aspire one mini

Yes! My very 1st blog post using my mini. Ok so far so good. Although it is really very small but typing is still quite fast because they didn't shrink the keyboard. Its still the same size and layout that i am used to.

Quite easily connected to my wireless modem and so far the speed looks ok. Was downloading anti virus updates la, windows update la..firefox etc...quite smooth in loading too.

Today's cough getting slightly better. Went see the chinese sinseh and he says i am having 风咳 ...no wonder i cannot talk too much cos when wind enters my thorat i will have that itchy feeling and i will start coughing.. No aircon for me at night also....it will cause me to cough a lot and then i cannot sleep at all.

Tomorrow's another packed day, evening going ah ma house then can play lanterns with NaNa hehhehe so happy.

Still coughing..

Sianzz....still coughing...at night so lack of sleep. Makes me even more pek chek. Haiz.

I hope over this weekend i will fully recover. So many things i want to do. AND SO MANY THINGS I WANT TO EAT.

I dun care if sunday i still not ok..i will still eat moon cake.... its 中秋节！！！！

Wasted Weekend!

Super sian weekend...cough cough cough. Since wednesday mild cough..then thurs became bad cough,thurs night was the worst.... when i talk, i will cough, cannot talk at all. So sad...
Medicine that doc gave me doesn;t seem to be working well. No choice, today go see my chinese doc. Hopefully chinese medicine will help.

No mood to do anything.. What a wasted weekend. And I can only stare at the mooncakes but cannot eat. =(

More Teachers' Day presents.

Hm it has been a very long and tiring day for me today... but i am really very happy & (very full becos of the buffet dinner) that i am just not sleepy and wanna share these with those who reads my blog.

Received a few more gifts from my students today...

And the cards that they designed! WOW... i nv did these when i was a kid...my art is really horrible all the while...but these kids are fantastic....ask me how old are they man!!!

For all these years, teachers' day has always been "just another day". When i was still a student, this day is a day where we have 1/2 day school on the eve...sing songs , perform for teachers..give them presents..hee hee and haha and then get another holiday off from school. When i started my tuition classes, I do receive little gifts here and there or small little notes they write on the wrappers like "Happy Teachers Day", "Thank You".... etc etc... Frankly speaking, all this while, when i receive their presents, all i felt was this...

" em....very happy ... at least they show appreciation and not take me for granted..."or "I am paid to teach them..so actually quite paiseh they buy things for me" etc etc...

Strangely enough this year i got another kind of feeling... I felt touched by what they wrote.
Perhaps its because I know they personally wrote it themselves (not parents do one..) Or maybe the feeling of "being a teacher" has sinked in my mind.. I dunno how to explain...but its kinda a different emotion.... 9 years tutoring... then i get this feeling...and at many times, i have that 冲动 to stop my lessons... and go take some Masters or what... But somehow...many factors will bring me back there..



Or perhaps its no longer a money making process but rather a passion.......

Till that feeling becomes stronger.... I am still who I am..... {Someone who can spend 24hrs like 48 hrs}

Came back real late last night about the 3 hours shopping with Mitch and her frens....She was really happy with what she has bought also hahaha.. canon printer with lotsa freebies, Phillips digital photo frame, thumbdrive, CF card, microSD cards etc etc....except that she still eyeing on the samsung 40'' LCD TV @ $999 ..good deal man!!

Her frens became new proud owners of iMac 20'', ipod touch etc etc....hahahah the iMac is really shiok.....seeing that makes the normal iMac book so "small and insignificant" at the booth hahah.

No time to try the speakers last nite...drop dead tired...today no good chance either.....tonite got dinner appointment... lets home dun come back too late then i can try my speakers tonite =D

Yesh...... I am planning for part 2 shopping ... perhaps tomorrow after 6pm?? Can go Hoot the 1TB external HDD @$219 last nite.....my 6th sense tells me tomorrow it will be <$200 hahhaha.

SG Toy and Comic Convention 2008

Okie, being childish i went to the SG toy and comic fair....at first i thought its going to be some kiddy show..with winne the poohs, mickey mouse, barney etc etc.....and then i was wrong...hehe its a more anime , gaming....young adults fair....

Held @ Suntec hall level 6...the moment i step in...i saw my fav !

Mario!~!! heheh its the nintendo DS lite booth lor..they got a few consoles there with some games, pokemon , cake mania 2 and got 1 game caught my interest too 'Summon Night: Twin Age'...ok i am going to get it =D Although now i'm still crazy over patapon on PSP... ;p

Seems like Nintendo is big sponsor for this event...got large booth for Wii also..pple playing those sporty game..and the guitar hero game....but no sony psp booth...Xbox have...quite small also.

Next i started walking to those crowded stores and snap snap lotsa of toy pictures


The "tofu" toy very cute...so many pattern =D They got my fav dumb dumb look also =D


All the booths have very nicely decorated backwall ...like the example above...some booth even selling the "wall!




Other than tofu..the other very popular toy is bear...even got the batman & joker pattern one...Really tempted to buy..but i tell myself..my room really no space to put liao....the cactus looking toy also nice...and the monster toy....forgot their names le..i was just busy taking pictures...there was this section in the middle of the hall that dun allow pictures..that one got doraemon de.....

There was also a screen preview of some anime ....looks nice....but then again..i was nv a fan of anime...the only one i watched was Slam Dunk..


I realized that people are getting smarter...even bears can be linked to tradional chinese wedding themes...with 四点金 OMG...dunno whether LALA wants??


The LEGO booth was having some lego making competition...looking at the models displayed there...i think i noe what is the theme liao... "We are Singapore ....We are Singapore...... "

It was near dinner time..i was hungry...then i saw this booth thinking..WA got bread to eat...wow lucky i nv buy and bite it...its TOYS!! ...they look so real...and SMELL so real....OMG...i thought i was hallucinating the smell at first...... buts its really real bread smell...

Bandai have very nice toys.....三国bb Gundam..something like that...and the booth was really crowded..there were a lot of very popular cartoon toys..like Ben 10 and power Rangers...wanted to snap more photos..but was unable to squeeze with the kids....


STARWARS booth was very pro...showed so many different versions ever since they started





老夫子 was also made into cute little figurines!!! I wonder do kids nowadays read the comic???
