Installing Windows 7 beta

Ok, i have partitioned my mini-acer netbook with 16gb for the installations. Installation is successful liao. 1st experience with it --> the boot up is quite fast and it does not have a logo during the black screen boot up ( unlike for XP boot up, there is already a big logo)

During setup screen, the 1st thing that didn't work was the touch pad's click.. mouse can move but cannot touch to click, i have to press the button next to the track pad to perform single click.

Ok now, i am at the famous gold fish screen liao..lets see what else...

New features i am playing now

-- Sticky notes, ok basically it works like "Post-it Notes" that a lot of pple are familiar with. Just that it looks sleek =D but not much features...just write note, change background color only. Can bold it also la... but i cannot find any options to change the font / font color.. nor set any alarm etc...

-- Control panel, ok i tried accessing it, cos i want to find the settings where i can re-enable my touch pad. the window pops up just like vista. And hahaha...on my mini acer with 1GB ram. So far it still does not yet =D hehe Ok i can't find the track pad settings..i think i am missing the drivers.

-- Realised that the ethernet controller is also disabled...let me go install my drivers......ok...managed to connect via my lan cable and also via wireless....hehe so this part is solved.

-- Snipping tool, this is a screen capture tool , once activated, it will prompt u to drag and select area to capture. Quite good...ok later i can use it to capture my screen shots.

Also noticed some new windows games. Got the mahjong select tiles game but its call a different name.

Em...quite late liao..time to go to bed... i guess tomorrow i will try the audio and video settings...plus maybe install the trial version of office 2007 and then see how it looks like here....
